On September 12th, our community came together to celebrate R U OK? Day, a day dedicated to checking in with each other, fostering meaningful conversations, and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health. We gathered to create a beautiful gratitude tree, a symbol of the positive moments, people, and experiences that bring light into our lives.
Residents enjoyed morning tea and coffee, which added a comforting touch to the day. What made it even more special were the heartfelt conversations. Residents opened up, sharing stories, laughter, and kind words, building new friendships and deepening existing bonds. It was a time of true connection, where we listened to one another in a judgment-free environment filled with understanding and care.
The spirit of R U OK? Day continues to inspire us to look out for each other, be present, and remember that none of us are alone—support is always available
